Since college, I have spent time working for companies that score standardized exams. I have experience tutoring English, Reading, Writing, and Grammar to students of all ages. I make it a point to keep lessons interesting and fun so that students remain engaged in the learning process. It so rewarding to see the "lightbulb' go off when a student finally gets a concept. My favorite course to teach is English, because I feel that you need to have a thorough understanding of the language to be able to effectively communicate and achieve success.I graduated from Baker College of Flint with a BS in Psychology. I am currently offering tutoring service in a number of subjects, including Reading, Writing, Essay Editing, Phonics, Grammar and Mechanics, ELA, Elementary Math, Middle School Math, Vocabulary, and many more. I am also available for summer tutoring and homework support. When I'm not working or teaching, I like to read, write, paint, draw, and do crafts.
